Our pricing, straightforward, transparent and honest...

To hire a Handyman we charge either by the hour (minimum of 1 hours labour) or, you can take advantage of our cost effective half day rate (up to 4 hours labour).

If you opt for the hourly rate this works out at £40.00 for the first hour and then £15.00 per half hour thereafter (any materials purchased by us are, of course, extra). All prices quoted are inclusive of all taxes.

It soon became apparent to me that the majority of jobs take far longer than an hour to complete. So I introduced a special half day rate. You can now hire a professional Handyman from Handyblokes for up to FOUR hours for a payment of £80.00. Or, should you require, you can book a Handyman for a full day at £160.00

For other, specialist services, please send an e-mail, with as much detail as possible (and, where practical, a digital photograph).

I receive emails asking me to quote on jobs. Unfortunately, it's virtually impossible to give a quote without actually seeing the work needed doing. What I can do is to find out exactly
it is that needs doing and give an estimate of the cost via email. Remember, an estimate is simply that, an estimate! Many firms say that they will give you a FREE quotation. Really? Any quotation you may receive will include that cost hidden away in the pricing for the job! If you're not happy paying our bargain half/full day rate and require a quotation I'll happily arrange to prepare one for you for which the charge will be £40.00 deductable from the final cost should you wish to use our services. If not, then this sum is non refundable.

Cost comparisons. My local electricity supplier charges £70.00 (plus VAT) to replace a broken light switch (check with yours to see if it's similar price). A locksmith will charge from £80.00 (plus VAT) to change a simple lock. A carpenter will charge upwards of £100.00 for hanging shelves. Here's a recent sample of what was done in four hours by one of our Handyblokes for one of our customers:
Changed two light switches, changed a pendant light fitting, re-fitted two locks, fitted shelving into alcove. Now you don't have to very good at sums to realise that this represents tremendous value for money for you! Remember, these figures are not plucked from the air, call any tradesman and you can easily verify the above figures!
We're so confident...

Our Handymen try to cover as wide an area in London as possible...

However, that's a pretty big chunk to get around in! Please mention whereabouts you live or work when contacting us. If we can't help you, we may know someone who can.

Remember, if you need a good London Handyman we're only a click away
