What a good Handyman service can do for you...

Small scale carpentry, replacing defective electrical sockets/light switches, fix shelving, small patch plastering jobs, re-adjust defective sash windows, small tiling jobs, replace/instal rim/deadlocks, small plumbing tasks, re-hang doors, flat pack assembly, hang pictures/mirrors, repair/replace interior broken glass, and lots, lots more too numerous to list here!
So Email us today to find out if we can Do It For You!

If we can't help you, we may know someone who can, you've got nothing to lose!

Beware of tradesmen who promise too much...

A good Handyman service knows its limitations! Many small Handyman services overstretch themselves by taking on jobs beyond their capabilities. If you have a large job you want doing ask for proof that the firm you're hiring is competent to do it.

Any servicing or repairs to gas appliances must be carried out by a member of CORGI (Confederation of Registered Gas Installers). If you engage the services of a Gas Fitter ensure that their membership of CORGI is current and uptodate. Do NOT attempt to service or repair gas appliances yourself!

From January 2005 any new electrical installation (ie new ring main) must be installed by a competent person. Ask to see their certificate of competence.

We don't do small/large scale conversion work. Nor do we re-plaster/re-wire/re-plumb whole houses. This is the domain of a building firm. If you hire a small jobbing builder, specialist jobs such as gas or electrical installation will be sub contracted out by them. Most sub contractors are competent tradesmen who take pride in their work, however, as in any profession, there are people who simply take the money and run or do a shoddy and potentially dangerous job!

We won't attempt to pull the wool over your eyes or bamboozle you with technical terms. If you're interested in learning what's going on when we're working on your property we'll willingly show you 'how it's done'.

Do you let out property or are you a Business Owner?
Maintaining your property is an ongoing business and is as important to you as having your car regularly serviced. Without regular maintenance your most valuable asset can soon look down at heel reflecting on you and your business. It makes sound economic and business sense to hire a Handyman from Handyblokes for 4 hours every month or two to keep your property looking good!

    Are you moving shortly?
Whether you're moving in or moving out of a property, there are 1,001 things that need doing. We can help you with whatever problem you may encounter. If you're selling, we'll give your home a pre MOT and, in the course, maybe help you add value to it. If you're buying, we're happy to check out your prospective buy to ensure it turns into your dream home - and not a living nightmare!

TOP TIP! If you're planning on buying a new property, visit it more than once at various times of the day or night. That way, any hidden horrors, such as noisy neighbours or anti social behaviour by other residents can be spotted before you make your final offer!
